    No. 4 Mk I (T) Sniper Question

    Has any Enfield collectors seen a finish like this on no. 4 mk1 snipers? It looks like a rough black coating. Any thougts would be appreciated.

    Message JohnB on here, he has one but I do not believe it had this textured coating when I saw it last year.

      Don't actually have one but seen a few and none have had a coating like that.

      In fact the only weapon system I recall (and that was whilst serving) that had rough texture coating was the 9MM sterling, mainly v early ones.

      Having said that of course they did escape to many other using armies so who,s to know what they did with them in the way of reconditioning.
