Opinions about German WW2 brown holster

    Hello,

I need your opinion about a brown german WW2 holster, which appear to be applicable for Walther PP.
There are no Waffen Amt stamps, just the Geco, which indicates the manufacturer as Gustav Genschow & Co. Looks like a private purchased holster.
There is only one ink stamp, which is P.P and I assume it means Walther PP.
I am reconstructing Luftwaffe officer(Bf 109/110 pilot) from 1939-1941 and
as far as I know officer were allowed to privately purchase their uniforms and pistols and Walther PP was popular amongst the officers in the initial period of WW2, before the appearance of Belgian Browning and Hungarian Femaru.

    Link to the holster:

    My questions are:
Is it suitable for my reconstruction?
Any ideas about the possible production date?

    Thanks and Regards,
    Dragomir
