    Walther PPK question

A Walther PPK, two mags, the holster and some other odd impedimenta.
I am hearing that the owners may be asking $2200 for it.
Seems high, unless it is traceable to the SS or has Police markings on it.
    Has capture papers.
Don't know what the leather pouch on the right is.
    Your thoughts??
    Tim

Looks like an earlier PPK as I can make out a six digit serial number without a K suffix on the bring-home form. Yes on the value if associated with the RSHA, but too high if police marked. Perhaps RZM. Can't tell from the lousy picture. The German policeman did not carry handcuffs. If anything, perhaps come-alongs in his pocket. Cuffs were used for transporting prisoners. Need to check markings on the leather pouch. If WaA, probably some type of sighting or mapping tool.

Oh, and I would have reservations about the holster. Notice the bright white stitching on the strap and bottom of the holster, but the mag pouch has been dyed. Repairs?

I agree, it's not a handcuff case. Perhaps a telephone headset case?

          Thanx.
Didn't even think about it maybe being an RZM.
I am waiting for better pictures on Monday.
Will post them if the WAF is still here and still working!!

              Fresh pictures...close ups.
It's an RZM & doesn't look reblued to me.
              They want $2200.
Ballpark??? Or a bargain in this condition with the holster and one mag.

Three more pictures of the right side slide. Some corrosion or loss of bluing here.

The leather pouch marked cqr and WaA411 were made by Lederwerke Sedima, Finkenwalde, Stettin. Looks like they made leather for communications equipment as well as other field carried items. Based on the strap on it's inside top cover, it's a match for the field telephone headset case.

Looks like the front sight has the factory modification for the night sight to mount to it. Does the slide match? The last 3 numerals of the serial number should be etched on the inside of the slide across from the ejection port.

I bought a really nice one this year for 2200.00 for just the pistol. If you want it, I’d offer him 2000.00 cash for it and see what happens. In Ky where I live that’s a square deal. Depends on prices in your area and how you feel about the rig...

                        Good luck!
