Wallmart ammo???

It doesn't matter where you by it. It's the brand that counts.

American made 8mm ammo is a compromise round designed to function safely in Mausers of nominally 8mm bore .Early Mausers are .318 cal. later guns are .323 cal. American manufactured ammo is not as hot as military loads ,all of which are .323 cal. bullets and are not safe in any of the .318 cal.weapons.Walmart ammo is safe.
