Is the marking a T or a Roman numeral I ? The S.B. was for Sea Battalion, and there were three, I, II, and III, marked as I.S.B., or II.S.B. or III.S.B.

Also, is yours the 1914 variation as shown in the original post, or is it the 1904 variation with the grip safety?
