    Japanese Pistol

this is not my pistol, It belongs to a friend of mine. He is looking to sell this but would need some information as to what this could be worth and information about the gun in general. I would really appreciate any help you all could please provide me as soon as possible as he is trying to liquidate this from his father's estate.

PMs ok too thanks in advance.

I'll have to disagree about the pictured condition. It's easily in the good condition NRA rating standard. It looks like a nice original returned veteran rig that has been untouched. And someone will find it very collectible. Try listing it on gunbroker to get the most money from it. Likely circa $1000, maybe more.

Thank you for showing the rig. You really need to know if the magazines are matching to the gun for a price estimate. As Steve mentioned previously, the gun has condition issues as demonstrated in the photos. Looking at the pictures you can easily see pitted surfaces on both sides of the gun in areas. Pitted surfaces hurt collectability and value both. Type 94's are not rare and an easier gun to find; therefore, collectors can be more picky at purchase time with condition. Just a few thoughts but overall looks like a nice original used rig.

        Regards,
        Tim
