    Holster Help Please Clg44

My $10 (Canadian) gunshow find, flat as a pancake, but otherwise only dirty and showing some wear, needs a cleaning. Marked CLG44 and an eagle/swastika under the inner flap. All stithing tight. Now, what do I have? Is it another Browning Hi Power holster, or is this for a Radom? ANy ideas? Thanks for all the input, hope the pics help.

I saw that one today myself, picked it up.. put it down..picked it up, put it down. I just wasn't sure what to think, but for $10 I was going to snap it up.

Hi Greg, I bought his $125 P38 as well, in rough shape, but what the he!!, it's an AC42. Any thoughts on the holster?

I'm not a big firearms/holster guy, but this one looked good. I was looking for holster for my tunic but I wanted one in a little better shape. Laurence Al and I must have made five loops looking for one for me. There was a great one with a fantastic P38 inside but it was too far out of my price range.

Appears to be a high-power holster manufactured by Ernest Melzig, Lederwaren.

leather.. stiches... markings.. etc look ok - I would say it's a genuine piece... but what gun ?!?! I am pretty sure it's not for RADOM...

Holster is for a Browning hi-power. "CLG44" is a common maker and date for this type of holster. But for $10, I'd say you got a very good deal !
