P38 Holster - Real or Fake

Hey guys,

I need your expert option. I bought this decent looking P.38 holster on Ebay (yes, late night and on impulse), the price was not bad, around $220 which I thought was a good deal. As days went by I got suspicious and researched the seller. His account name is martintvb2 and you can google him. Surprisingly his reviews are all stellar and he has not a single negative feedback. Yet he only sells leather period holsters and that's it (and only few at a time) ...which to me was a telltale sign of a faker. All of his holsters look genuinely good. Ebay does have a 14 days buyer protection so I am not stressed about loosing money but I am perplexed and wondering. If they are genuine where does he get such an amount of hard shell holsters?? Here are the pictures of mine...does it look genuine to you? Any feedback would be really appreciated. Thank you.

Nothing wrong with that holster, if it is a fake then I’ll comission him to make me hundreds of fakes of that quality, character and price

good one at good price just i wounder why you buy stuff without any idea abaut? interesting way of collecting......i wounder abaut you in a deal face to face on a gun show ,there is not 14 days return policy and google may not know your seller

Wehl, thanks for feedback, I mostly agree with you. It was a bidding situation and $200 is sometimes worth the risk...in this case it paid off. You are correct about Ebay's policy, I meant the seller had a 14-day money back. That's what prompted me to take a risk in the first place. I guess my AC 42 will finally have a good home after all
