Thanks for everyones help so far! I appreciate you posting the photos for me, I will get the membership eventually this is just my first time using the forum. Does anyone know what the 4 digit number is on the bottom of the receiver, beside the lever to remove the butt stock? Do you guys think the bluing is original?

I say blue is post war Jugo. This is same as 99.9% of all MG42 today!
