5 Digit Serial Number K98 Bolt Eagle 140 Question

OK, I apologize for the rookie question, but I can't figure the deal on this K98 bolt... it has a 5 digit serial number and stick eagle 140 proofed. I'm not familiar with that proof and does the 5 digits indicate a later war weapon? I only recall seeing 4 digit numbers. Sure wish I had the matching rifle.
    Thanks, Skip

    140

140 proof was used by FN Belgium who supplied bolts to the Mauser plant.

Skip- Mauser did this in a very specific range of rifles, but you are right it is not the standard numbering convention.
