              It looks good to me. I have a number 32xxx. For possible value you'll have to go around the internet. There are several webs that deal with antique weapons that might give you an aprox.

              PS Mine says New York City, and the screw on the loader's hinge is inverted, with the head at the right hand side...

                  Around $1200 or so for the revolver. The mold is no great shakes, heavily pitted, no discernible markings - maybe $75. The combo's on Gunbroker for $1600.

                    Yeah, I was looking over GunBroker for prices.
                    There are so many on there, it gets tough separating the wheat from the chaff.

                          A decent percentage of this model in this serial range went south right before the war. You may be able to get this one papered by Colt if those records survived the fire. Condition is not great, on the other hand if it could be documented that this one was bought by a southern state or southern retailer it would make up in spades for the condition, which by the way is pretty typical for southern used early revolvers.

                          The range from about 95,000 to 99,000 more or less is the sweet spot for Southern acquired 1851s
