Yea I like it a lot, thought about making it my concealed carry lol but I took it out and put 50 rounds through it and had good groupings at 25 yards

The number 135 is the proof mark used by the Army inspectors at the Mauser factory to identify the HSc's procured by the German Army. If you'd provide the six-digit serial number at the bottom of grip front I could give you the date of manufacture.

The Eagle/135 is the acceptance mark, and the Eagle/N is the proof mark.

A nice looking piece. But I would not carry it, why stake your life on an old weapon? I would get something new.

Hi! What do you think about HSC serial number 79399x? It's a commercial or army production? I read that this is a army production of 1942.
                    Thnk you!

Your HSc, 79399x was produced in Sept 1942. If it's stamped w/135 on the left side at the rear of the trigger guard, it's Army procurement. A commercial pistol won't have any stamping at that location. Can you provide the complete serial number and which it is for a large database? Thank you.

Thanks! The final serial Number is 3. This hsc has one grip cut off.

They are elegant weapons...from a more civilized age.
