Police E/F - Rare?

OK Luger guys,
I have a Police issue E/F 1939 serial # 80w.
It has a Simson E/6 side-plate which has been cut out for the sear safety, but the safety bar is missing.
According to Jan Still's book only 34 out of a prodution of 2290 are reported.
Would this make it quite rare, or have many more come to light since publication.
I have posted this question on the Luger forum, but i am still waiting for a reply.

Any ideas?

There may have been some more uncovered but the facts in Still's book still stand without revision. There may me a number collector who can update it. The production run was short. A shame your example has a missing sear safety. I had one #383.
