    Single Shot Erma .22 unit

Here is a very interesting Erma .22 single shot 98k conversion unit.. With post April, 1940 Eagle N proof marks.. This one does not use a replacement floor plate nor does it use the 5 shot .22 magazine.. I have never seen a issue wooden box for the single shot version, it would also contain a tool for tightning the unit into the 98k..Enjoy BILL

Ostmark, I have not shot this one but I have some of the repeater types which I put into a 98k and take to the shooting range, they are a lot of fun to shoot..I have a post in the firearms section of a Kreigsmarine cased 5 shot Erma .22 98k conversion unit that you might want to look up.. This is the only single shot one that I have seen, but have seen plenty of the repeater type.. BILL

                  Bill,
I posted a boxed unit sometime ago that is unit marked and the safety is dated 1943, have you ever seen anything like that before with a date?

                  Regards,
                  Robert

Bill, I have one of the single shot Erma versions too. Mine is # 9545 and E/N. The III Reich police used these single shot versions, though I have never seen one with police acceptance markings. The single shot version is explained in the Fisher police weapons manuals. The .22 tubes were issued three to a wood case.
