K98k Receiver ans rear sight covers

Greetings All,

I just got done reading "BACKBONE OF THE WEHRMACHT" and saw some nice pictures of K98k receiver and rear sight covers. Does anyone have pictures of these items in use? Were they manufactured and used throughout the war or were they a nicety and disappeared early on? I have heard of the receiver covers for the G98,first war usage, but not of one for the K98. Does anyone know of one to be had?

I have sight covers and breach covers for the 98k in my collection I'll post you some picts. tomorrow since the attachment program of WAF is down today... BILL
