        SZYM, It looks to be of German WW2 mfg. with the red line and coarse web material.. There are MP44 ammo pouches and MG34/42 ammo box carriers made of the same material with the red line in the canvas material.. It sure looks like WW2 german, that was reissued sometime in the 50s to the Czech military but who knows???????? It could have been made by the Czechs from left over German material... BILL

            These pouches can be found in large numbers, at least two for sale (or used to be before the big ban) on Ebay every week. There is absolutely no reason to suspect them being real German WW2 manufacture. There has never surfaced a period picture of one of these in use. Let's call the red stripe a coincident. There are dozens of others, most of the time found with postwar MG42 / MG53 / MG3 parts, for sale out there. Never was German WW2, never will be!
