Hi Robert, as Victor says this ammo is really hard to find at any kind of reasonable price here in the UK or even at all; I know because I searched for some to fill my PPSh41 drums for over three years. I like to have loaded mags in my weapons as it gives the true weight and balance.

The best scource I found was from a Flemish dealer who attends Beltring each year and has a stall which sells nothing but inert ammo and WW1 relics. He is very good price wise and I have had some great deals from him over the past three years, on many different items. I have his card, somewhere.... If I find it I will post you a PM with his details. Anyway last year I bought from him some Czech made 7.62 x 25. It was boxed and was in stripper clips (of I think) 8 rounds. I got four clips for £25. I would, of course, like wartime dated Soviet made rounds, but I have all but given up of finding any. These Czech rounds are early 50's in date and are not ideal being steel cased, but at least now I have some representative ammo for display at living history events.

      Cheers, Ade.

thanks for the info and reply, Adrian i want to get the ammo for my ppsh if you can find the details of the Flemish dealer that would be great the Czech stuff will do, i am going to Beltring so this would be great if i can get some there.
also is there anywhere i can get the bannana mags for the ppsh ??? i have two drum mags but would like this other mag as well are these hard to get? or will there be some at beltring.

Hi Robert, the 35 round stick mags are not too hard to find. But there are Chinese and Yugo made versions on the market. I bought mine from members of our LH group and paid about £5 each max. The one to look out for has a "bell shaped" mouth to the top of the mag and is the earlier Soviet made version. I still lack one of these myself. Sorry I don't have a photo of one to add, maybe someone can add one to show the type I mean?

One thing that really surprised me is that the 35 round mags are not interchangable with the PPS43.

You should pick some up at Beltring no problem

          Cheers, Ade.

Hi Robert, I will start a new thread on these mags otherwise info can get buried within the forum. I have just taken some pics of mine and realised that there are many differences between then. Plus it it a subject I would like to learn more about too

              Cheers, Ade.
