Joe,

First I will jump out and say its a Radom, the back of the slide etc. looks just like the ones I have... its a Radom!

Now what you describe really were very deadly days in Czech., I have of late been doing alot of reading about the events in Czech. during the given time period.

I once spoke to a German soldier that was taken prisoner in Czech. by the Russians he said that the Czech's came out to the Russians with Knives and demanded that they could kill the captured Germans... he said that if it were not for the Russians he would have been murdered.

I would vote for Radom also. Shape of grips and rear of slide, grip safety, and ring hammer. I have one too.

Definately a Radom!

You can clearly see the grip safety. Too bad we can't enhance this photo enough to make out the S/n on the frame.

Then you could tell if the one you found is the same one.

Great photo! and a hair raising story as well! Looks like he has a K98 and K98 bayonet as well! Do you have those too?

Can you post some pics of the Radom you found in the attic?

Please do PM me with the details, I have some knowledge of the events during those bloody days to include the German minority there. I know germans who were there...

Thanks very much Gentlemen! Robert, will PM you shortly, I am on nights the next 48 hours. Matt, her ear ethe Radom pics, have posted them before. Coincidentally, only a year later I found a Rdom in a gunshop here with the serial numbers only 500 or so apart from the one I had found in the attic (so I had to buy it)! And yes, there was a round still in the chamber from sitting in the attic allt hese years!!

Are you going to soak the attic found pistol in oil and get her going again ? The gun looks a easy restore to me.

Hi Joe, I remember when you posted the pistol originally and what a great find it was, but now with the photo you have discovered it makes it even more special. There has got to be a good chance it is one and the same gun.
