          BTW why do people like showing their toes???? i've seen many pics in which poeple do so... There are simple ways of trimming and editing pics before posting them.

            Here it is!!! Pics are nor too clear but might help

            -In the first pic it is used to hang the bezug when not in use .
            -In pic #2 might it be used to hold the sling? I don't really think so...

                1st could be a option, but for sure not the 2nd, the belt is fixed at both ends at the gun, as it should be.

                  Giving it another thought, IMO the meaning of the hook is not just to fix the cover somewhere when not in use. In this case I would expect the hook to be more forward, on the edge. And why is no hook on the rifle covers?

                  So riddle still unsolved...
