Need help to buy pp

I live in Brazil and I do not understand much about PP. I would like to buy one.

After a long search, because I do not live in the USA unfortunately, I found this.

Can anybody help me? I wanted to know about the year of manufacture.

Value?

Any historical value?

The production date is around 1938. With the photos provided, I see no historical value and the condition renders it a "shooter" to me with a value of perhaps $500. The wear on the slide does not match the finish of the frame in the images, so I would wonder whether they are matched.

As has been stated; that pistol is in "well used' condition. There is an active pistol collector located in Brazil who posts over on Jan Stills luger Forum who I would suggest you contact for local information. He posts under the name Douglas Jr and I believe he lives in Rio.
