A few months ago I purchased a G 43 rifle. Unfortunately the rifle did not have the bolt, bolt carrier, bolt housing, firing pin assembly, or butt plate. I bought the G 43 for $350. I then purchased the missing parts from a member on this forum. I went back a few weeks later to pick up a 1863 Colt Musket, and a MG 34 with 5 matching barrels, matching wooden crate, matching log book with number of rounds fired, 5 matching barrel holders, anti aircraft sight, barrel changing pad, matching bolt, and matching demilled receiver. He told me he had some parts he did not know what they were. I told him the parts were for a G 43 rifle. It ended up being the matching parts for my G 43. Included in the parts was an excellent condition bolt, bolt carrier, bolt housing, original dust cover, butt plate, a G 43 magazine made in Denmark, a bakelite muzzle protector, 2 G 43 sight covers, and what appears to be an original 98K sling in a bag marked G 43 sling. I now have an extra G 43 bolt, bolt housing, bolt carrier, firing pin assembly, firing pin, extractor, two bolt locking lugs, dust cover, and a G 43 butt plate. All parts are original and are in very good condition. The serial number on the bolt, bolt housing, and bolt carrier all match. The bolt carrier has 30-06 lightly marked on it. I am trying to decide whether to keep these parts as spares or sell them to an individual needing them to complete their G 43 rifle project.
