Luger regiment? markings

Hi all,

I recently bought myself a new (to me) ww1 luger. It has, as I understand it, some information about who/where it was issued stamped into the trigger guard. Where do I look to find out as much as I can about these stampings?

You should rewrite the stamping, as its no good visible, the marking MGK Nr. should be for MG Kompany, nr. of weapon. There is a digit in front of JR marking? b.r.Andy

The full text reads LJR.K.W.II.N.2.1MGK.N.45

It should be Landwehr Infanterie Regiment, it could be Koen.Wurttembergisches Nr.2, but maybe its other, You should wait for unit experts, 1.MG Kompanie and weapon Number.b.r.Andy
