Polishing Plastic Grips

Is anyone aware of a polishing compound that will remove minor blemishes and scratches from plastic pistol grips?

I have tried, with success, the kits at auto supply shops, that are for polishing the headlight covers. There are two stages of a coarser and then a finer polish.

BTW: Did you do L. Stewart's show on Saturday? I was set up at the Crossroads show so I couldn't make it.

Just be careful that you don't end up with a polished look the stocks never had. Minor blemishes would be expected on older stocks.
