Enfield No.2 Mk1 RAF 1938 with adjustable sight

Just purchased what appears to be a nice Enfield No.2 Mk1 with RAF marking dated 1938 with adjustable sight. BNP marked, at least I know it wasn't stolen from the armoury. Still, these RAF Enfields don't come along every day, especially with original adjustable sight.

Grips could be better, but gun looks 95% original finish. Told the lockup is tight and the bore sharp. Possibly RAF guard's sidearm...

Commercially proofed after 1954. Should have small crossed sceptres with the date code of proofing.
