Does anyone know how many copies of Sauer's civilian version are?
What is the number of series of the civil version?

[QUOTE=baja600;7775890]I do appreciate your comments, and after looking at the two, I do see what you are talking about. Can you tell me about the grips, they appear to be of the same similar design as the one pictured. As there were checked wooden grips of that era, could these be just as authentic...or not.<

Can't help with the question about the grips.......

The only authentic wood grips for the Sauer are found on the model 36 prototypes:

The production models all had Bakelite type grips.
