Receiver Identification

Does anybody know what this receiver is ? It's threaded front and rear. One has the letter "H" stamped toward he front and an "A" further toward the rear. It also has what might be a faint waffenampt or imperial marking below the H.

Trapdoor Springfield. Barrel screwed in one end (with hinge), and piece much like a breech plug screwed in other end. Screw went through breech plug into trigger guard assembly to hold it in stock.
