MG34 wooden Stock Stamp, Original?

A little help please. Is this hvq 42 mg34 stock stamp original?? I've not seen one on a 34 stock before.
You can see it has emerged from under the varnish.

Any help appreciated

yes, it is original of 1942 and 1943.

Hi its made by Fagus Werk ,Karl Benscheidt Alfeld/Leine in 1942 and not unusual to get maker marks on mg stocks

It looked good but I had never seen this maker' stamp on an MG34 butt, but rather on Mg42s'. Good to confirm.
