    Nambu 13-1

I posted this in the Japanese section with out much luck. A buddy picked this up and brought it over to show off. It is my opinion this was a battle field pick up as opposed to a captured weapon. One side looks to me as though it was on the ground for a period of time. Those marks do not look like gouges to me. They look etched, like salt on vegetation and that grip has moisture damage. It has not been touched up as the "etched" areas have that same look as the rest of the gun. Having said that this is the first Nambu I have ever seen up close. Has anyone seen that kind of damage.

I did not break this down. I found grass in the trigger area. The frame and cocking device numbers match, but the Mag and one of the firing pin parts do not. The bore was filthy but otherwise good to fair plus. It also had four original rounds in the mag.
