For me the reblue is not the worst of it, it is sad the rebluer went crazy with the buffing wheel.
                  Looking for a 30 '06 Chauchat magazine.

Thanks for sharing. It's a rather rare rifle as there just wasn't many bcd's (Gustloff) made. I keep a detailed serial listing of these in a data base and this was the first report of this rifle. To give you an idea, I have the following pages of information on each rifle's manufacturers:

Walther: 131 pages of known rifles
BLM: 76 pages of known rifles
Gustloff: 17 pages of known rifles

                    I have a c block G.43 bcd.

                        G 43

That G-43 just has a little more character than the original finished ones. I bought a G-43 recently that is missing the entire bolt, carrier, bolt housing, bolt assembly, firing pin assembly, and firing pin springs, and firing pin retainer, and dust cover. So basically I have a barrel action, with sights, stock, complete trigger group, stock, handguard. Looks like someone removed the entire bolt assembly and never put it back together. Your help would be greatly appreciated if you could direct me to someone that has these parts available.

I would think finding a complete bolt would be difficult....However, you may see what Claus Espeholt and Rob Apfeltor have for parts....Rob even makes new ones....Good luck, Bodes
