MG 81 Bolt and Barrel Prices

Found two nice MG81 barrels and bolts. They are not from Europe; neither has been defaced. What do these things sell for?

I just had a MG81 brought into my shop and it has a plugged barrel so I am looking for one.
I do not know what they sell for although I have seen them for sale (But not sold for the asking price).
If you can come up with a fair price we should talk.

Have you considered rechambering? If the barrel is numbers matching that is a much better option.

That was my first thought as well . . . try to have the original (and matching?) barrel repaired.

If you are very lucky, an excellent condition MG81 barrel, if you can find one, won't cost much under $1500 unless condition doesn't warrant it or the seller isn't up to speed on current values.
A weld in the breech can be carefully removed and the chamber cleaned up with a roughing or finish reamer, and the chamber will be serviceable. Definitely worth the effort. At the worst, if the arcing of the rod has left gouges in the chamber wall below the plug that interfere with extraction, the chamber can be drilled out, plugged and rechambered.
Another option is to replace the barrel in the original extension, using a reprofiled MG34 or MG 42 or other original MG barrel modified to fit the extension.
          Just some ideas from experience.
