Question on the K43 qve 45

I need your help.
This is k 43 , code qve 45. I would like to buy this rifle. I'm not sure whether the sliding dust cover is correct.
What do you think ?

This particular type of dust cover is a variant known as the "long manual" dust cover.
Hard to say about its originality according to these pictures...

I've only seen this type of dust cover on stamped steel bolt housing, marked WaAA44 (Merz Werke, Frankfurt a.M.). I've never seen this type on milled bolt housings (such as for G41s).

My QVE45 milled housing doesn't take this type of dust cover. It's hard to tell originality as these parts are not marked but be aware that these were often damaged, discarded and are available as reproductions. This one doesnt look like its had a lot of wear, these were beat up pretty quick. My 2c.

My two rifles with the machined (milled) bolt housings have internal dust covers....The one in the opening post is an external one....Bodes
