    These are getting too good.

Original. Many, many small differences between the Shoei manufactured mag and a vintage mag which are easy to see if compared nest to each other…...

I have four in front of me ( the bottom one is gqm) and about thirty more at home and I still have to question them now.

        checked my mags .

Have a Shoei STG42 and MP44. Compared their mags to the 8 original MP44's I have. All I could come up with is the Vertical side groves are shallower in the Shoei mags on both models. Otherwise seem identical to originals.

All the repros that I have handled are "fxo" and waffenamt "37" marked. The waffenamt is wonky, and overall the feel is less substantial. Haven't seen a repro gqm mag before. The repros that I have handled are the ones sold via numrich.

The first two pics are too blurry to be 100% sure. The four mags however, all seem original to me.

That top mag (dark color) in your pictures is quite a rare one - see the way the rib runs down the back - does it have a Czech lion on it by any chance?

The others three are nicely phosphate finished and worn with time, would be very skillfully artificially aged if they were reproductions.

The top mag interests me - more pictures when you get a chance, please.

I don't find them quite rare. I have one that is only waffenampt, 2 that are over stamped and at least two that are just plain Czech.

In the USA, they are rare. I have one, it is wartime with waffenamt. No post war marks. I also have the MP45 stamped mag, and tbv StG44 mag.
