    Police marked CZ 27

I recently acquired this pistol from my son. We found it in a lgs some years ago along with a second high polished wartime version that he parted with while redefining his collection. At the time he told me though not as nice looking this one would be much harder to replace.Long story short I have traded and helped him in his new vision so that I could keep these in the family so to speak. So now I am trying to find out what exactly do I have.I see that it is police marked but aside from the barrel and standard cz designation's is unmarked.

    Thank's for any help, John.

Hello John, You have a very nice Czech CZ-27 German WW2 Police issue. These were manufactured during the German Occupation of Czechoslovakia. (Bohemia-Moravia German protectorate). What the K stood for has never been resolved. The area was under Reinhard Heydrich until he was assassinated on June 4 1942 by Czech Army parachutists. BILL

Thanks for the information. Is it the same as the one listed here that says approx. 500 made?

I'm not selling, but does anyone have an approximate value?

So only approximately 500 were made then. No fnh and no date, military finish. Interesting.

            Any guesstimates on value?

I also have an all matching nazi marked police hsc with two matching magazines numbered 1 and 2 to the gun with a nice holster that I'll post when I get back from work.
