Just be really cautious when using Armslist - !!!!!

Do a reverse image search using google or a similar engine -
Fraudulent sellers will take images from bonafide sites and just use them.
It's a pretty quick way of determining a cheat.

            Scammer

Armslist quite probably has the highest number of scammers of any arms related site. I used to be a moderator there and zapped ads I found or others reported. ALWAYS ask for custom photos of the item, I ask for a simple photo of a dollar bill stuck through triggerguard or wrapped around item. Simple to do for seller unless he doesnt have the item.

Hi guys. I really appreciate you guys for taking notice. I havent received the gun, I contacted paypal and being the usual jerks they never refunded my payment. Yet I even reversed the image to google and there were no duplicates. Unfortunately lesson learned.

                    Hi,

if you paid with PayPal gift BUT with your credit card, you should be able to report the fraud to your bank, and you will probably get your money back (but you may lose access to your PayPal account).

If the payment was made using your credit card, contact your bank immediately and start a credit card claim fraud.

                    See You

As Vince as stated if you used a credit card you will get your money back, as long as you don't receive the item, unless you have had a long relationship with the credit card company, as I found out last year as I had a deal go bad, so I contacted my card company, informing them I had a problem with the seller, so they agreed with me, and then like normal I thought I had to wait for another 3 weeks as that was the time frame that the item should off arrived at my door, but I was amazed as a few days after I contact them I notice my money was refunded back to my bank account, so I think that was due to me being a long time customer and knowing that I was collector buying from around the World.

One think I would like to mention is that my first time dispute with a crook and using my card and getting my money back, well this was over 3 months when I put a claim in as I was banging my head, waisting my time with PayPal until a friend asked me if I used a credit card, so you can still put in disputes even if a number off months have gone buy!

Anyway I hope this may help you, and I hope you use a credit card,

                      Lou
