    Fresh 98k

    Thought you guys might like to see this but its sad at the same. Straight from the veterans family. Looks to be all matching but was stored in a garage in a cheap rifle case for 35+ years of its life, sadly the moisture got to it. The matching bayonet was stored in same cheap cloth case. Both have a film of rust but untouched since war end no doubt.

              Pictures aren't the best, but would guess it's either a Steyr (bnz), dou, or dot.....The bayonet is toast....Bodes

                        Oil and steelwool does miracles to this K98. I think it will become a very fine rifle after all.

                          Use brass wool. Not steel.

                          I think it could clean up. What letter block is it?
