Stripper clips K98k - gold coloured?

Did the Germans ever make "gold" coloured stripper clips for the K98k?

I have some with markings like:

    P 25
    Triangle 32
    P
    Triangle 33
    P28-36
    P208G

Does any of these markings make sense to you? They came along with some other "silver" coloured clips that are defenitely original.

I always have the idea such "gold" brass/messing clips are fully original I have some simillar. P used to be for Polte and the number was code for the plant? They are of older manufacture and when shortage to metal arrose in the war the abandoned those? Anyway maybe some other explanation are possibly. The "silver" ones are steel plated and finally there is some steel zinck plated/coated too.

I understand that the 'triangle' marked ones are Weimar production, the dates would seem to confirm this but I don't know the maker. Some makers made both brass and parkerised steel clips with the same date code but there does not seem to be a fixed point when production changed from brass to steel.

Part of my Imperial website has a chart on WWII stripper clip production.

Still looking for more examples to make the chart as complete as possible, if you have an example not shown please email me with the details.
