WW2 german spare parts kit for Colt 1911

Hi guys. Could this be real? If so how much I'd it worth?

Are you sure it is WW2? It might possibly be post war...

I'd say its worth a 1000USD at any rate, some of those parts and magazines look prewar to me. Its a very interesting kit.

It's a cool find, I'm doubtful it's WWII as well. There's a lot of parts but nothing looks like it's collector grade, the mags and grips look pretty salty. I don't think it's a huge value item to be honest, maybe $1000 on a good day to someone who sells 1911 parts or something.

          Regards,
          -Steve

So the parts are for the Norwegian 1911? they must be, I said 1000 as a ballpark number, without really seeing the parts up close a real evaluation is next to impossible. If they were all Colt made, grip panels as well, the value would be higher.

If I'm taking my close look right they are definately Kongsberg parts. And therefore the German inscription is correct and would be WWII period, post WWII makes no sense. And if any of you had followed my link, you'd had seen an absolutely identically marked spare parts kit. It's highly doubtful one would go through the pain to find all those parts and make correct wooden chests for it, hence I vote for original.

I can't speak of the value, but obviously less than € 4000. I assume the already mentioned $1000 sound correct, at least this is what I would pay for it if I have the chance to buy it.

The case is now sold and was a bit too expensive at $800 as Ive sold my german made kongsberg colt. Ive got no doubt to its authenticity. Thanks anyways.
