This guy was a b-17 pilot, six of his crew were killed when he was shot down on 6/21/44. he was with the 91st bomb group flying "sleepy time gal" He was at stalag luft 3 one moth after the great escape

I found paintings very well done by an artist named Gilland signed on the back. I also have Nimitz and Macarthur. I went back for Churchill, Monty along with several others. The antique shop burned and the rest were destroyed, I saved x3.

anyone seen this before??? It's longer than a carbine bag, fits my M1 Garand perfectly. It appears to be a paratrooper jump bag for the M1 Garand. I can't find another example online.
