sauer opinions please

I was wondering if I could get some opinions on this pc. I just picked it up for 450 tax and all, the seller lives with in driving distance so no shipping. It is a police marked sauer, and I can never seem to find one for less than 5 to 600. this one has very nice photos. and it looks in very good condtion.

First of all, Welcome to the Firearms Forum! Glad to have you here.

As for your pistol you just purchased, it looks to me like you got a pretty fair deal there. The Sauer 38 or model H, is an excellent small SLP.
I take it you were looking specifically for a police marked one? Now, do you have a holster and spare mag for this yet?

I just sold a nice late war military proofed Sauer on the estand last month!

thanks matt. I have bid on a couple of these neat little guns, on guns america and auction arms, and they seem to go over their worth.
I emailed this seller on a gun auction and put agreed to put up a buy it now price with me standing by. this police marked pistol is very hard to find, and I get many collectors telling me that it should sell for 400. Yah, find one for that, I will take all you have. relist them on auction arms and make a couple of hundred on each one.

Ernest, you are right about those prices. Everybody can find anything at a good price if they stumble across it, but try to find one at a resonable price when you are looking. It won't happen!
