At the fall of Saigon in 1975, two of our Lieutenants brought back german weapons. One was a P-38 and the other an MP-40.

Had a friend who captured an MP 40 in Vietnam also.

And another friend who carried a P38 as his sidearm in Vietnam that his father had brought home during WWII.
