    Can anyone tell me the correct bayonet for an Eddystone P-17?

    As issued by the U.S. it was the "United States Rifle, Cal. .30, Model of 1917, or M17 for short. The P (Pattern) is a British designation like the P14.

    The bayonet is the Model 1917 Bayonet, and also fit other weapons like the Model 1897 and Model 12 trench shotguns. The scabbard is distinctive with a blackened metal throat and tip, and the body is green leather.
