    My 1st Walther PP 1944 - WaA359

Well I jumped in on a Walther PP recently and ended up with a SUPER CLEAN 1944 PP. EaleN & WaA359

It has a great finish left and it came with two era correct clips and a holster. The holster may be Italian as it is not marked.

It does have the earlier weighted grips (in great shape) but other than that is "correct".

I suspect that I will have to look for other clean WWII era Walther's now that I have the bug.

Very nice! I have wartime 1945 dated one. It's very clean and has very little wear. What's the consensus shooting such guns? Will that somehow effect their value if they are properly cared for and proper ammo is used?

I am not sure how it could change the value... but i do not plan to shoot this one.

        A superb piece, either way.

Congratulations, it is a nice PP.
Seems to be in excellent condition.

I shoot mine . Just use good ammo, Winchester is what I stick with in my German ww2 pistols. Cheaper ammo abounds but think about how expensive the pistol is and why risk it.. Looks like a nice pistol . Congrats. Frank v.

Nice Waffen proofed PP. I have 5 Mod. PP's but have yet to find a nice as one as you have. Don't shoot it! I have seen and heard horror stories about ruining a great collectors pistol by having something break . It is not worth it. Get a shooter if you want to shoot a PP.

                Thanks Bill

I lucked up on this one... I have yet to see one posted online as nice as this one (condition wise).

I collect M1 Garands and I only have 2 that I shoot. The others are safe queens.
