    scarce unknown hebel regimental marked

    new income today a verry scarce hebel in 35 years of collecting never see
    a similar all opinions welcome .
    regimental marked JR.48.3.M.G.11
    maker of gun JCEHEF
    no imperial proof stamps
    serial no 1067
    weight of normal hebel 1522 grams this example weight 1730 grams

        very nice flare gun! I have seen it before, but never in good condition. Details of this type are unknown, but it is believed that this type is of austrian or austrian empire origin. I like ;-)

              Very interesting, nor have i seen one like this before.

              It's hard to see that the latch lever style is an improvement in any way over the standard design and really IMO leaves a lot to be desired in utility terms for this arrangement......but I could be over looking something.

                  only serial number and regimental stamp .

                    here was already mentioned about, the maker could be polish, bulgarian or other? possibly for german army? when german notes on frame, more samples was found in Russia. but in dug out condition. b.r.Andy
                    The unit on frame when correct is not austrian, more real german.

                        I dont saw a JR stamp on austrian units, anyway normally is the 48 in front of the JR. b.r.Andy

                          It is Austro-Hungarian, I had two examples and sold one of them about 5 years ago. Still have the other.
