    Button Use Question

Does anyone know what this button on the right hand side of the Broomhandle Mauser is for? I have indicated the button in question by the white arrow(excuse the poor drawing of the arrow). Thank you in advance also this is only an 1-1 scale airsoft gun.

On a real one it retains the firing pin and bolt, just as Bill said; I'm not sure what it does on your BB gun though. (What does the owner's manual say? (Sorry, too lazy to go downstairs and fish mine out to look for you.))

It's not mentioned in the manual and as far as I know it does nothing

If your model is an accurate reproduction, retract the bolt, which should remain retracted, held to the rear by the boss on the bottom of the bolt resting against the top of the hammer. The end of the fring pin should have a slot in it. With a small screw driver, push in and twist the firing pin clockwise so it releases and pull it out. Now the "button" or bolt stop can be removed sideways. Release the bolt back into battery to reduce recoil spring pressure. Keep in mind that the stop is under recoil spring pressure against the front end of it so it will resist being pulled out to the side. Hope this helps.....
