    Luger Snail Drum help needed!!

    Hi,

    I have been offered the following snail drum, a 2nd model, but I am not sure if its a fake, the front plate is flat, and most of the second models i have seen are different!!

      It's original. The early second models did not have the reinforcing rings.

              my re-pro loader from Simpson was $500, I THINK you turn the lever and lock it in place, then load around 6 rounds by hand ,then you use the loader to push the rounds into the mag,after loading you release the locking lever, from what i remember that how you do it, hope this helps
