I would like to find precisely the month of manufacture.
In principle, it was discovered in ground of fighting in July 1944
Also there are necessarily product before that month

Can someone confirm this as well as the production month ?

These shells were not stamped with month of production but with a lot number.
Your shell was produced as the 15.th lot in 1944 .
St stands for steel case .
aux was the maker code . If I remember correct aux stands for "Polte Werke Magdeburg".
