                          My uncle has an Erfurt produced AZ which I got to handle recently. They are very interesting rifles. On my short list, for sure.

                            Good pics of a typical weimar rebfurbed former imperial kar98a. I have had a handfull of these post WW1 refurbished kar98a's...some with artillery regt markings , some with polizei markings , and one marked to a sanitats motorpool section. Most were in near untouched condition as it seems many of these were captured/surrendered direct from police stations and like internal security organizations near the end of the war.
                            I don't collect post WW1 refurbed imperial peices so let all of them go that I had.
