Whats the thought on these from the collectible aspect of what is being offered here?

I have been looking for a good clean K98, with matched numbers and it seems that where I am at they are tough to locate...Hawaii.

SO I found this site, and they look to have some good weapons.

But with the eye for collectibility, what is the thought on these? I am thinking about one for 299.00 for display with my other weapons, and one for a shooter that is 249.00.

This group and their BS weapons is a great rip off for the new person in weapon collecting.. You can pick up a MINT yugo. Mauser at any GUN show for 89$ US in the original wrap and grease with all accessories, including a bayonet.. There will be 100s of them at SOS and NGD in FEB... BILL

I agree with bill on this one. This site is Bull Sh-t and a total rip off. There is a place here in Canada that also sells them to the states, so if you want to look at this website, you can probably find what you are looking for.

The prices might seem a little high but remember, they are in Cdn funds so you have the advantage on them. Hope this helps.

My advice to you would be to get a Curio and Relics license from the ATF. You can have rifles which are C&R eligible (pretty much anything old and bolt action, and many semi-autos as well) shipped directly to your house. The license only costs $30. You pay the shipping, and you would anyway, going through a 01 ffl dealer. The market's wide open for you after that! All the big retailers, auction sites, etc!
