    Mauser K98-G.29/40 - 660 Code

Yesterday I found this very nice DEACTIVATED numbermatching KM mauser with a marking and code that I havent seen before.
Can anyone tell me anything about it?
The rifle itself is 100% numbermatching. The bolt are numbermatching itself, but not to the rifle.

    Thanks for any help

660 is the Steyr Austria code. Later changed to bnz in 1941.

      Hello,

rifle is also a Norwegian capture and if the barrel has same serial as receiver from the German arsenal then this is one of the very few rifles NOT converted to 30-06 but with the cut out on the front receiver ring it looks to not be one of these rifles. the bolt should match the last 3 digits of the new added Norwegian number. Buttplate should have German serial and added Norwegian serial.
