Those tool cartridges are very tough to find also. How about showing us a Luftwaffe tool cartridge too?

          Bill,

I'm not sure which I like better? This early G43, or all the lovely (not to mention extremely rare!) accessories that you have with it?!?!?!?
          Everything it just awesome!

          Jack,
I agree. It is interesting in compairing this early G43 to some of the later 44 and 45 dated examples. Fit and finish really went downhill!

If only we UK based collectors had the chance to compare the various vintage .

            A treat to view.

This is a nice weapon and a piece of art. Take good care of it and thanks for sharing it with us.

              Cheers.

                G'day all,

Very nice piece indeed Bill, brings a tear to my eye looking at it.I used to have one which was in such nice condition it would of made yours look like a relic, however, and this story will probably bring tears to the eyes of several others, the goverment here in its wisdom outlawed semi-automatic rifles and all had to be handed in for destruction unless you had a justified reason, very hard to do,and the piece was de-activated.I had one of these and a 44 made k43.I could not justify having 2 of the same weapon[in their eyes they were the same weapon]and as I collect mainly late war stuff the early model went to probably end up as a railway track or something and I had the K43 de-activated.I saw lots of other rare pieces go the same way, including G 41's and a Bergman smg.
                Cheers,paul.j
